they call saying they are going to arrest me they claim to be a criminal investigater

I always do a reverse look-up on numbers I don't know, and when I got two calls in a row today from a 718 area code, I looked it up. The information I got was consistent with what you guys are saying, and my story is pretty much the same. I don't know about you, but I have enough headaches without some jerk playing phone pranks on me, and I wish this person would stop already.

Whoever this is, PLEASE QUIT CALLING ME!! This number has been calling me every day for two weeks, now, twice a day. I do not know how they got my number. You have to be so careful these days! I answered a few times, and noone was on the other end. I am afraid to call back, because then they might think I am interested in what they are peddling. According to other phone number complaint sites, it is Consumber Credit Group, out of Florida.

leaving messages to call back, I tried doing so today and get hung up when the automated service says Please Hold while I transfer you to a customer service rep. HOW DO I STOP THIS ANNOYING CALLERS!!! I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST!!

Calls are daily even as much as twice a day. Caller tries to sign us up for a free service that will enter into a payment cycle billed to the business if not canceled with them. When manager answers phone hangs up. Recently become irate and profane.
